Queridos Amigos,

 

I am an international entertainer from Caracas,Venezuela and now living and performing in the Tidewater Area of Virginia.
I cater mainly to ballroom dancers though my music is suitable for dining and dancing.  (Roberto lives in Newport News Virginia, near Fort Eustis and Langley Air Force Base (AFB), but he takes his music almost anywhere someone wants him to play (He gets a lot of out-of-town requests, because someone dances to him here, and asks for him to play for their event.)  Normally, you will find him playing in the better dance venues around Newport News Va, Hampton VA, Yorktown VA, Williamsburg VA, Richmond VA on the Peninsula side of Hampton Roads.  On the Southside of Hampton Roads, he plays in all of the major communities, including lots of venues in Norfolk va, Virginia Beach VA, and Chesapeake VA.  He has been the anchor musician for most of the annual USABDA New Year's Eve Dance Galas.  (USA Dance, Inc - now))
I'm a solo act, playing the keyboard and singing, and considered a " One Man Orchestra."

Langley O Club Honorary Members Base Pass:

I'm sure most of you who are honorary members of the Langley AFB Officers' Club received today the letter to renew your base pass. Since the old pass expired, you will have to go to the Lasalle Ave. Gate pass office with the letter and have them call the Officer's Club 766 1361 and ask for Larry Bonner or Becky (head cashier) to be sponsored on the base. This has to be done between the hours of 10 A.M. and 2:30 P.M.  I'll be there Sundays for brunch and some Wednesday nights.

Lots of GREAT choices this week. Sunday will be my first day back at Ft. Monroe in Hampton VA for Sunday Brunch Dance. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. $10.95 pp. Al you need to get in the base is your drivers license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. All persons in the vehicle will need to have a picture I.D. You can call me or e mail me if you need a reservation. I will make sure they receive it.

THURSDAY- Acapulco Tropical Mexican Restaurante. Ph.456-2008, 470 Newtown Rd., Virginia Beach VA.  (Click for a map to Acapulco Tropical Mexican Restaurante.)  A Huuuuge wood floor (and corn-meal, for those of you who know what that is for...), good food and my music should add up to a great night. Hope to see you there.  Acapulco Tropical is located at 470 Newtown Rd. in Virginia Beach, a few hundred yards North of Virginia Beach Blvd, on the right (traveling North). It's almost at the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd. and Newtown Rd. Ph. 757-456 2008. Lots of well lit parking.

Monroe in Hampton Va (Phoebus VA)).  After entering the base, continue to the dead end (at the hotel), then turn left.  The Officer's Club (actually it used to be the Officer's Club - it's now just the Ft. Monroe Club.)
