Nov 4-6 - Virginia Beach Shag Club (VBSC) Another Bus Trip to the 15th Annual Fall Cyclone in Cornelius NC, Nov 4-6. This dance is hosted by The Twister's Shag Club. Free Shag workshops, free food, free beverages, multiple DJ's, and much more. This dance is a sell out and all that go on the VBSC bus trip will be guaranteed a ticket to this dance. The price for the bus trip will be $65 per person, price for the dance and hotel rooms seperate. Further information will be available soon.
Nov 17-20th - I've got some interesting news.... Christmas is coming before Thanksgiving this year! Well, at least Christmas in Dixie Shag Dance Event is coming before Thanksgiving. Due to the North American Championship being held in December I have moved Christmas in Dixie to November 17-20. It will still be held in North Myrtle Beach. I hope that you can join us for another great event. I was really happy with the move last year and I think everyone really enjoyed being on the beach. Look for more information to be out soon. We¹re confident that it¹s going to be the event of the year perhaps the event of the century in whole Europe?! All the most exciting dance personalities from the whole world have united and they will line up to provide you with the best of the best within country dancing! We¹re not only talking the best dancers, we¹re also talking the best judges, the best choreographers, instructors, volunteers - You name it. They will all be there.
The level and amount of competition, workshops and open dancing in the many dance halls will be unprecedented and take you to an incredible high.
Already now we know that almost 20 countries will represent Worlds XIV in Scandinavia (South, North and Central Europe, North America, South America, Australia and Asia)
