~~~ A Message from Roberto ~~~

I am an international entertainer from Caracas, Venezuela and now living and performing in the Tidewater Area of Virginia.
I cater mainly to ballroom dancers, though my music is suitable for dining and dancing.  Roberto lives in Newport News Virginia, near Fort Eustis and Langley Air Force Base (AFB), but he takes his music almost anywhere someone wants him to play (He gets a lot of out-of-town requests, because someone dances to him here, and asks for him to play for their event.)  Normally, you will find him playing in the better dance venues around Newport News Va, Hampton VA, Yorktown VA, Williamsburg VA, Richmond VA on the Peninsula side of Hampton Roads.  On the Southside of Hampton Roads, he plays in all of the major communities, including lots of venues in Norfolk Va, Virginia Beach VA, and Chesapeake VA.  He has been the anchor musician for most of the annual USABDA New Year's Eve Dance Galas.  (USA Dance, Inc - now))
I'm a solo act, playing the keyboard and singing, and considered a " One Man Orchestra."

SUNDAYS

Ft. Monroe Club (Bay Breeze Comm. Club) Every Sunday. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

$10.95 pp. To get on the base all you need is a current drivers license, vehicle registration and picture ID for all passenger 18 and over in the car. Open to the general public. MONDAYS

19th Hole Monthly Dance. One Monday a month. Held at the beautiful party room of the Country Club Apartments. 115 Tide Mill Lane. Hampton, VA.

$15.00 per couple or $8.00 for singles. Refreshments provided. Wood floor.

(From Interstate 64, in Hampton or Newport News VA, take La Salle exit in Hampton VA going North.  Go past Armistead Ave.  Turn right at Tide Mill Lane.)  From Norfolk / Virginia Beach Interstate 64, take La Salle exit in Hampton VA going North.  You'll actually be on Armistead Ave.  There will be two very quick right turns, after you leave the ramp.  Take the second right turn onto La Salle.  Turn right at Tide Mill Lane.) 19th Hole club is the first large building on the left.  (Click HERE for a map to 19th Hole dance in Hampton, VA)

 

Tuesdays

Roberto plays for your dining enjoyment at the Imperio Inca Restaurant - 7 to 10 p.m. First and Third Tuesdays of every month. Great food & social dancing to the sounds of Roberto.

Dinner Buffet and Dance at the Langley Air Force Base Officer's Club

The Langley Officers Club has temporarily moved all it's activities to the newly renovated Bayside Enlisted Club located on Ward street at the end of the flight line while the O club is being renovated. Norfolk's Waterside Market Place. - ROBERTO performs one Friday a month in the food court area for ballroom dancing. Free and open to the public.

Douglas High Dance studio. "Party with ROBERTO" open to the general public. First Friday of every month. $10.00. Free dance lesson from 8 to 8:30 p.m. and dance to Roberto's music from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Refreshments and lots of munchies included.

Take I 64 and get off at the 263 A exit- W Mercury Blvd towards the James River Bridge. Go 1.2 miles to Gumwood drive and make a U turn. End at .02 miles on your right.
